We are pleased to announce the call for applications for the 10th Fundación ASISA Chair Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis in the field of Health, Education and Quality of Life, awarded annually by the “Health, Education and Quality of Life” Chair of the University of Lleida, with the support of Fundación ASISA.

This call is open to candidates who obtained their doctoral degree from the University of Lleida during the 2024-2025 academic year, with doctoral theses related to health, social determinants, education and quality of life.

The award consists of a financial contribution of 3,000 euros for the best doctoral thesis at the UdL corresponding to the 2024-2025 academic year.

The application, using the model provided in Annex 2, must be submitted by email to the UdL-ASISA Chair (catedrasaluteducacioqualitatdevida@udl.cat), with a copy to the Secretariat of the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy (dif.secretaria@udl.cat), by 15 September 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

The application must include the following documentation:

• Doctoral thesis and documents accrediting the requirements and merits presented.

• A written statement briefly explaining the achievements attained through the doctoral thesis and future projects related to this line of work, with a maximum length of one page.
